Hi there, how do I get lots of backlinks? I know they are expensive, but I've seen some sites with over 1000 backlinks.

They didn't buy all of them.
For example you can write articles for other websites where it's allowed, or post comments with your links.

Is it really that easy? I've never played with SEO - not my cup of tea. But will Google just keep you higher authority just because you've written a post somewhere ?
