What is nagios?​

Nagios is a utility designed to monitor network services such as HTTP, SMTP, POP3, HTTP, ICMP, NNTP, monitor CPU usage, disk space and other hardware. Also, nagios can send you alerts in case of any problems with the above services or hardware.

Install nagios on CentOS​

To install nagios, you need a clean server on CentOS.

# Just download and run the sh script with the command:

curl https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/install.sh | sh

After the installation is completed, go to the web interface for configuration.
http://[ip]/nagiosxi/

Select the nagios web interface URL, time zone, program language, theme, and license type.

Use a ready-made username and password, or create your own.

Login in to the web monitoring panel and use it.
